Making the most of your Unfair Advantage

A personalized message from Cody and Alex:

We appreciate you following along with us on Unfair Advantage.

As a free subscriber, you’re only receiving a fraction of the content we create for you.

By upgrading your subscription, the paywall will be removed from all of our articles, and you’ll start receiving the Unfair Advantage Podcast.

In addition, in 2023, you’ll start receiving more articles, more podcasts, and we’ll introduce guest appearances and subscriber-only cohorts for enhanced learning.

What’s behind the paywall

You’d think our most popular articles would be the posts that are open to everyone, but that’s not what the data tells us.

Our top 5 most-read articles were only sent to paid subscribers. They are:

Each month, paid subscribers also receive the Unfair Advantage Podcast, which is not available to the general public.

Each episode contains a long-form interview with a world-leading practitioner whose expertise can help you in your coaching practice. Guests include:

  • Chatter author Ethan Kross

  • World-leading neuroscientist Lisa Feldman Barrett

  • Sport psychologist Dan Abrahams

How we chose our subscription amount

The annual subscription for Unfair Advantage is $50, an amount we arrived at quite simply.

If Alex and Cody were to write a book each this year, we’d sell them for roughly $25.

Rather than writing a book each, we’re writing those same ideas and concepts directly to you. So, you’re getting the value of a book from each of us over the course of a year.

There’s also a $5 per month subscription, which is low-commitment and allows you to cancel anytime.

Your unfair advantage

The objective of Unfair Advantage is to give you the tools so that you can create a competitive advantage for yourself in whatever discipline it is that you’re pursuing.

If we don’t believe an idea will help you create a substantial level of competitive edge, we don’t hit the publish button. This screening process has served us well so far.

As we begin to bring you more and more content, we hope you’ll join us as a paid subscriber so that you can make the most of your unfair advantage.
