  1. At the beginning of the season, games are won by teams who have prepared better. At the end of a season, games are won by teams who have recovered better.

  2. More of what you do daily is defined by where you are (rather than who you are) than most people would care to admit.

  3. The world’s best performers aren’t doing anything more complicated than the people they’re just ahead of. They’re just doing it more efficiently or with a more refined technique.

2 Tips

  • Confidence-building can unlock performance across areas of your life (sports, work, relationships, school, etc.)

    • The simplest way to start:

      • Take 5 minutes every day to write down a win

      • Keep your journal for 30 days

      • At the end, synthesize the results and look for themes

    • You’ll end up with a list of successes and how you made them happen.

  • Repeat your goal or team mission more often. People need to hear things 8-10x before it sinks in. Most leaders get tired of hearing themselves talk before their team tires of hearing it.
